Is SportConnect free?
Yes — using the app is free. Turf rental and equipment costs are settled directly with the venue.
How does matchmaking work?
We rank candidates by sport overlap (you both play tennis), location (same pincode, same district, or wider depending on your radius setting), skill, and availability windows. The list refreshes daily.
What if someone doesn't show up?
After a game, players rate each other on three things: did they show up, were they skill-honest, and were they sporting. Two no-show events in a 30-day window puts the player on a 14-day host cool-off.
Can I host women-only games?
Yes. The visibility filter is enforced at the database level, not just the UI — if a game is women-only, men's accounts can't even see it in the listing.
Which cities are live?
Nagpur is live now. Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, and Chennai are scaffolded with city pages and will go live as turfs onboard. Sign up for the waitlist on the homepage.
Is there an iOS / Android app?
SportConnect is a Progressive Web App — install it from your browser and it lives on your home screen with no app store. Native apps are on the roadmap.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@sportconnect.in from the phone number on the account. We delete profile, ratings, and chat history within 7 days.
